1. Who we are

ConnectSafe Ltd. (trading as Trova) operates Trova, a safety-first adult dating platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.

3. Eligibility

We may require age or identity verification and suspend accounts that fail checks.

• You must be 18 or older (or older if your jurisdiction requires)
• You must have legal capacity to enter a contract
• You must not be prohibited from using the Services by law

4. Your account

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts as permitted by law.

• Provide accurate, current information
• Keep login credentials confidential
• Notify us of unauthorized access

5. Community rules (summary)

You must follow these Terms, Community Guidelines, and our Safety Policy.

• No impersonation, harassment, threats, or abuse
• No illegal sexual content or content involving minors
• No scams, extortion, trafficking, or solicitation
• No doxxing or sharing others’ private information without consent
• No bots, scraping, or circumventing security

6. Your content

You own your content or have rights to post it. You grant Trova a license to host, display, and distribute content as needed to operate the Services and enforce policies.

Deleting content or your account may not remove all copies immediately (backups, legal holds).

7. Messaging & moderation

We use human and automated review to reduce spam, investigate reports, and protect safety. You can report users or content in-app.

8. Fees and payment

Pause discovery is not the same as canceling a subscription.

• Subscriptions: paid features may include Plus, Premium, or consumables and may auto-renew per Apple or Google rules until canceled
• Refunds: refunds follow applicable law and store policies

9. Intellectual property

Trova owns the Services and branding except your User Content. Do not use our trademarks without permission.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal data, including NDPR disclosures.

11. Termination

You may stop using Trova and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety, or legal reasons.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee matches, outcomes, uninterrupted service, or how other users behave.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Trova is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum allowed by law.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes should first be raised in good faith; unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria as specified in the full Terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with notice as required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
